Me and Jesus had a little talk

Today my companion and I went back to the church for more play practice. I found this bulletin board with Jesus on it. I stopped to say hello to Him.

One of the teen actors held me so I could see Him close up. We talked for a few minutes about creating things, and heaven, and doing good things for people. Then I had to go to rehearsal and help my companion run the play.

I think Jesus is awesome. What a nice guy. And He knows a LOT of stuff.

Monday at the Church

Today I went to church (on a Monday!) First we went to the office to copy the script for the Vacation Bible School play. I found this beautifully illuminated verse on the shelf. The picture doesn't show it, but there's gold leaf all over the parchment.
Next we went to the Secretary's office. There I found two huge bags of gold. If the gold was real, we'd all be rich!

Last, I found one of my companion's bestest friends, D. She's one of my bestest friends now, too. D. liked me right away. There are lots of dolls at her house that I haven't met yet. I don't think there is one just like me, though.

Tomorrow we will go back for more rehearsal. It will be fun because I'm the assistant director. Hugs, Jenna

I took an afternoon nap today. While I was asleep I dreamed of yarn: tons and tons of yarn. Knitting needles and scissors and patterns and fog.....lost in a world of designing new clothes for myself.

The problem is: I don't know how to knit yet. I'll ask my human companion to teach me.

My Companion's Anniversary

Thirty two years ago today, my companion and her DH got married. June 10. The bridesmaids each wore a different pastel cotton eyelet/emboidered dress. The colors are shown in the print of my dress.
The flowers in my hand are from the actual bridal bouquet. I can't believe my companion has saved them all these years.
The card in the background is the one that DH gave my companion today. It's beautiful, with embossed flowers, a gold ribbon, and wonderful poetry.
Happy Anniversary, you two!

Jenna's Mammo

Today I had my first mammogram. I checked in, put the drape on, and stuck the metal stickers in the right place. Here I am in the top of the squeeze tray. The squeeze tray lowered until it couldn't lower anymore.

It took just a little while to get all the shots the Technician needed.

All done and ready to leave.
